1. Who we are and what this policy covers

SouthGate Associates LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the markeTHINGSplace pre-launch website at https://markethingsplace.com. Our business location is Florida, USA. Contact us about privacy at privacy@markethingsplace.com.

This policy covers visitors to the pre-launch website, people joining our customer waitlist, prospective sellers expressing interest, and related correspondence. The website does not currently offer shopping, payments, customer accounts, or seller accounts. This policy does not describe the future transactional marketplace; we will update our privacy disclosures before introducing materially different activities.

2. Information we collect and its sources

Information you provide directly:

The forms also send an internal subject identifying the submission as customer or seller interest and include an anti-spam field intended to remain empty. The forms do not request passwords, payment information, government identifiers, health information, or file uploads. Please do not send sensitive information through these forms.

Technical information: our hosting, form-processing, email, and font-delivery providers may process information sent by your browser or email system, such as IP address, browser or device details, requested resources, access or submission times, referring page, and delivery or security logs. The information available to each provider depends on the service and request. This information comes from your device, network requests, and our service providers rather than additional visible form fields.

3. How we use information

We use information to maintain the customer waitlist; provide requested launch and early-access updates; respond to prospective sellers about applications and participation opportunities; answer inquiries and privacy requests; operate and secure the website and forms; prevent spam and abuse; and meet legal obligations or protect legal rights.

Submitting a form requests communications about markeTHINGSplace relevant to that form. It does not register an account, place an order, guarantee early access, or approve a seller. We do not use this submission as permission for unrelated brands' marketing or disclose the list to independent sellers for their own marketing.

You can stop launch or seller-opportunity messages by using an unsubscribe option included in a message or emailing privacy@markethingsplace.com with your request. We may still respond to a privacy request or other inquiry you initiate.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We use providers to support the pre-launch website:

The forms are configured to send data to Formspree over HTTPS. JavaScript normally submits them in the background and displays a success or error message. The HTML also supports a direct form POST if JavaScript is unavailable. Formspree and our email provider may retain separate copies of a submission.

Google Fonts requests disclose technical connection information to Google when the fonts are loaded. For provider details, see Formspree's Privacy Policy, Google's Privacy Policy, and Hostinger's Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, address fraud or security incidents, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not sell or rent your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Necessary service-provider processing is not a promise that information is never disclosed.

5. Cookies, tracking, and browser signals

The pre-launch landing-page code does not set analytics or advertising cookies, use localStorage, or include analytics tools or advertising pixels. We do not use it to track your activity across unrelated websites. Hosting and third-party services may process technical data or use security mechanisms under their own policies; this notice does not mean that every provider operates without cookies in every context, including on its own website.

The landing page does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. It does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising regardless of whether Global Privacy Control is enabled. We will reassess these disclosures before introducing tracking or advertising tools.

6. Retention

We retain pre-launch lead information during the pre-launch period and for up to 90 days after its formally recorded end, unless you request earlier deletion and no lawful exception applies. The end date has not yet been set. This period is not measured separately from each submission date. We will not automatically carry your waitlist or seller-interest record into an unrelated marketing list or a new marketplace account.

SouthGate Associates LLC is responsible for recording the end date and arranging deletion of lead records within that period, including copies in the form dashboard, notification inbox, and any working lead lists under our control. This is an administrative process; this policy does not represent that automatic deletion is enabled. A provider's shorter archive period may remove its dashboard copy sooner without removing notification emails or other copies.

We may retain limited records longer where required by law or reasonably necessary to resolve disputes, protect security, or document compliance with a privacy or unsubscribe request. Any such retention is limited to the purpose requiring it. Technical logs and provider-managed backups may follow separate service retention schedules; we request or perform deletion through available controls and applicable provider procedures.

7. Security and processing locations

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to this limited collection, including HTTPS for the website and form transmission, and access restrictions for administrative systems. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Access to lead information is intended for personnel authorized by SouthGate Associates LLC who need it for the purposes in this policy and the service providers supporting those purposes.

The website is intended for the U.S. market. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Contact us if you need information about handling a particular request.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

You may email privacy@markethingsplace.com to request access to your information, correction, deletion, removal from a list, or an end to communications. Please identify the email address used for the submission and the type of request. Do not send government identification or other sensitive documents unless we explain why additional verification is necessary and arrange an appropriate method.

We may verify that you control the relevant email address before disclosing or changing records. We respond as required by applicable law, explain any lawful limitation, and do not penalize you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Depending on your location and whether a law applies to our activities, additional rights may include a copy of information in a portable format, information about collection and disclosure, opting out of specified processing, or appealing a denied request. To appeal, reply to our decision or email the privacy contact with "Privacy appeal" in the subject. You may also contact your state attorney general or other relevant privacy regulator.

California and other U.S. state privacy laws have different applicability requirements. This notice does not assert that we meet every statute's coverage thresholds or limit any right you have under applicable law. We do not request sensitive personal information or use automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects through these pre-launch forms.

9. Children's privacy

This pre-launch website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact privacy@markethingsplace.com so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.

10. Changes and contact

We will post changes on this page and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide a prominent website notice and, where appropriate or required, notify affected people by email before applying the change. We will obtain consent where legally required before using previously collected information for a materially different purpose.
